Do You

Do your roses bloom Where your garden grow Do the flames grow brighter Under the mistletoe Do you hear my heart beats When I kiss your lips Do you burn your bridges Never to return Do you make mistakes From which you learn Do you hide your secrets deep within In a fortress of steel, granite skin Do you say never and never again Or do you rekindle the love Which brought you so much pain Do you wonder in amazement How the animals care for their young And be a good parent Do you wade in the water To catch the cascading drifts Or do you work hard To nurture your talents, your gifts Do you keep asking questions When you should try Because if you keep asking questions Time will pass you by Nothing will be achieved But an almighty Sigh And you keep pondering Why? Why? Why?
