Do We Pray In Heaven?
No one before has answers,
The question still remains,
Passing on is something,
We all will do someday.
For when the journey's finished,
And you've touched the face of God,
Tranquility is promised,
Yet something seems quite odd.
A lifetime spent in wonder,
An end to grief and pain,
A daily interaction,
We'll never do again?
From above we watch our loved ones,
As they continue on,
Prayer is the connection,
To every soul that's gone.
We beg for his forgiveness,
His guidance and support,
His undying approval,
A place within His court.
The finality is unsettling,
What do we do from here?
If we pray in heaven,
Does someone really hear?
