Do We Know Enough Now,So To Just Let Things Be?

Do we know enough now, so to just let things be?
Must we always display every scheme in our head?
Shooting alloys to Mars; resurrecting the dead;
Convulsing the atoms; drilling holes in the sea;

Minds etched in machines confront or console me.
from cloning to transplants, is there nowhere to tread?
Do we know enough now,so to just let things be?
Must we always display every scheme in our head?

In these grand innovations, not a word has been said:
Protections prove poison- from asbestos to lead.
Can we match the design of one small bumble bee
with peerless pollution and such horrid debris?
Do we know enough now, so to just let things be?

The rhyming pattern is excellent and it really moves the poem along in such grace. I like the flow of the words and the message. This is really intriguing. Great job! Joseph
