Do They Even Live In This State

Four students arrive late to school every day. Downtown has allowed them to attend our school Although they live two or three towns away They are definitely ruining our attendance They are loud and proud. Demanding this, that and the other. Arrogant and rude like their parent. We have only met one, but she is a trip. We say nothing, allowing these infractions to happen daily It seems crazy to me, and yet I am not in charge. I wonder sometimes if these children live in this state. I keep my mouth shut. Not my business And since I live in a different state Not my tax dollars either

Schools are a little risky these days, CCTV, Metal detectors, high fences, not only in America, Columbine comes to mind and one gruesome one in Scotland where a man in his fifties shot and killed thirty odd nursery school children but spared the teacher so she could watch - he was shot and killed by the police, and his parents refused to accept his remains. Maybe the Principal is unable to reprimand them, afraid of a situation perhaps, protecting the decent youngsters in the school. Hugs Jen

Principals have no choice in our school system - it is all about the "downtown people" who do all of the enrollment and have never taught.

Sounds like there are no boundaries with your permissive principal!

Not up to her. This all comes from downtown people.
