Do They Celebrate Christmas In Heaven

Do they celebrate Christmas in Heaven? What a glorious sound it would be If all of the angels were singing, Gathered round a big evergreen tree. Will you have some children to read to, Like those wonderful yuletide’s of old? Will you be chosen to tell them The story you once happily told? Another Christmas without you, I’m missing you still, my dear son. But if they have Christmas in Heaven, Then perhaps you will not miss the fun. I know that God must have noticed How you like to spread Christmas joy. And perhaps He will let you play Santa, To a small angel girl or boy. I can see those small cherubs jostling To be invited to sit on your knee, While you tell them the old, beloved story, Of how Christmas first came to be.

Absolutely beautiful and touching poem Joyce. This did indeed put Christmas in my heart in the middle of this hot, hot summer. Beautiful, flowing rhyme and rythmn and a story that put a tear in my eye. I bet, that not only do they have Christmas in Heaven, but that they celebrate it every day! Thanks for the joy you paced in my heart with this poem. Joe
