Do Pink Chickens Lay Pink Eggs

Do pink chickens lay pink eggs? We have been watching a TV show about a pink chicken. A darling animated pink chicken who has told her this. I look into her earnest brown hopeful 3-year-old eyes. Certainly! I reply. She claps her hands. I want to see them in the morning! She says. Being a perfect grandma, I stay up an extra hour, dying our eggs pink.

I am the "fun" one. When my son-in-law said, "hey, that's enough candy," I turned and reminded him. "She is at Grandma's house." He quickly shushed himself.

Thank you Eve. I have 10 grandchildren - 6 are girls and 4 are boys, and I would do this for all of them if I had to.

I may not be perfect, but one granddaughter wrote a poem about me being an AKG - awesome kid grandma, and she said I inspire her. It is on the wall, sitting where I can read it daily when I want to be puffed up, after doing something stupid.

I saw all ten of my grandchildren yesterday, my mother, and my twin sister. We did an early Christmas, and yes, there is NOTHING as great as being a grandmother. That is my crowning achievement and greatest accomplishment. The love that oozes out of that cannot be compared.
