Everybody would like a life do over
You would just make different mistakes.
Maybe I just need a life forward approach,
What now in my retirement?
Poetry is great,
My fellow poets are encouraging.
Expressing my pain yesterday,
Today my joy.
Tomorrow’s unknown.
Writing is such a release.
You can imagine and create,
Or vent your struggles.
My faith in God is at its strongest,
My love for others growing rapidly,
Resentments a thing of the past,
The future is a blessing to be capitalized on.
