Do Not Take Health For Granted

I used to run circles around other people. Seventeen years ago I lost weight and was buff. I had muscles in my legs. I had energy attached to my energy. Since that time I tore my meniscus and ACL. I bruised a bone in my leg. Developed arthritis in both ankles. I am no longer running circles. I have gained weight. I barely remember what being buff felt like. Seventeen years has changed me in many ways. Health is everything. D o not take it for granted. Enjoy every good day. Do what you can while you can.

Oh, I couldn't agree more, Caren. I can totally relate to this poem. Yesterday, because the barometric pressure was going crazy with the storm front, my arthritic knees hurt so bad I could hardly walk. I feel for you!

It is weird to have arthritis; you never know when it is going to bite.
