Do Not Stow Your Life Away


Do not stow your life away
Or stray in some godforsaken play
Nothing worth having is just given away
Do not look the other way

Embrace with open heart
What now seems the hardest part
And should you get carried away
Or even lost in any way

A nudge, a touch I will apply
Night and day on me you can rely
For it is you, my child,
Who forges firm untied

This precious life
