Do Not Stand Beside My Grave and Weep
Do not stand beside my grave and weep
for I am not there
for I did not die
I am the air that surrounds you
and the ground beneath you
I am the tear upon your cheek
and the sound of your weep
I am the north and south
and the change of seasons
Oh how god knows I have left you with out reason
Do not stand beside my grave and cry
for I am not there
For I Did not die
This poem uses the line " Do not stand beside my grave and weep". It was inspiration from a
famous poem by Mary Frye Titled "Don't stand beside my grave and weep for I am not dead, I do not sleep"
