Do Not Say This To Children

I always try not to say this to children no matter how tempted I am.
“Shhh! You’ll wake up the monster under the bed…
And if he gets too loud, the closet crazies will come out
and pull you into the deepest darkest night.  Sleep tight”.

I love that ad with the little boy creeping into his parent's room because he's afraid of the thunder, then he gets the sweet-smelling blanket and feels safe. hmm...you may not have seen it.
