Do Not Misunderstand Death

do not misunderstand death

flowers, and other plants
drift into our lives,
not to find refuge, but
to implant a message:

do not expect 
to live too long;
do not wait to bloom
lest you  be struck down
as young buds in 
a sudden frost !
