Do Not Leave Me Alone

do not say goodbye! for your arms around me has kept me through; your balm and grease sustained my bones and nerves, for they are from a heart that is pure and true. when storm and tempest throws me to the west your hand of power raised me from the depth; when shadows of death stole away my rest the blood that binds us brought in me a new strength. when the going gets though and the lane rough your saintly voice as a pillar held my heart with power; when friends and fans denied their vows of love your unchanging passion was my only hope and high tower . you are more than a million friend indeed for weather and climate does not change your words: in times of joy, difficulty, plenty and need, you never break the golden cord that sealed us. oppositions and terors around me wait for the hour that you will say goodbye and i will be alone for your shadow is like a million guard around me every hour oh my Lord my prayer always is do not leave me alone
