Notes About The Poem

Shipwreck, Ocean, Thunderstorm, Sea

Do Not Leave Me

I watch the sea
As it runs aground.

Do not leave me
In my shadow,
I don't want to be alone.
Love me until the bones
Beneath my skin dissolve
And return to dust.

I watch the sea
As it shipwrecks me.
