Do Not Hesitate To Be Real

Do not hesitate to write your story
For no one else can;
They cannot imagine it
or taste it, smell it or stomach it
It is yours alone to write about.

Do not hesitate to write your songs
Let them come prancing and dancing out of your soul
Belt them out, even if your voice is not the best.
Release them into the ether and watch them play
Sit back and enjoy.

Do not hesitate to write your feelings
They make the best stories, poems, and songs.
Giving your emotions to your readers is the best thing you can do.
No one else could, because no one else knows them.
Do not hesitate to be real.

No one can write our story except us, and if we don't, when we are gone, it will be lost forever. That's what lead me to write my autobiography which is being left for my grandchildren to read after I am gone. It's too racy for me to answer the questions they would have if they read it now!
