It slowly eats away at your soul

It closes the hearts door to love

Destruction it’s only role


Do not harbour hatred

It only brings pain

It serves no positive purpose

Very truthfully said, beautiful Deb.. Hatred is that seed that can never reep rainbows and it only consumes the happiness of our hearts. Sometimes in the case, when wronged by a person and the grief is so deep, it's difficult for the soul to forget, but forgiveness is necessary for the sake of our own peace and serenity..We should learn the lesson and let go of all the negativity, cleansing our heartbeats from the control of dark powers. Also, hate leads a person nowhere. You're a beautiful soul

Very true Deb, but sadly some do, in fact look at some world leaders who are full of hate... look at some who claim to be religious but hate other religions, look at those who are racists, bigots.. but its the hypocrites who are the worse, who think they hare defending themselves, but spreading hatred and lies instead.. nicely expressed dear poet..
