Do Not Give Up

Who has been bruised That has not bled? Who has been stressed That has not wept? Perhaps some have not, But many of us have; Yet as many as are touched, I plead, "Do Not Give Up". Who has been hurt That has not cursed fate? Who has been down That has not lost faith? Perhaps some have not, But many of us have; Yet as many as are wronged, I plead, "Do Not Give Up". For there is yet hope For a tree which is cut: At the touch of water It shall spring back forth! Hence for all that faint And all that weep sore, There is yet life to be lived If you would not give up!
