Do Dodos Do Doo Doos

[Mr Google assures me that the plural of Dodo is dodos or dodoes]

Do dodos do doo doos
Not any more
But dodos did do doo doos
They did doo doos on the floor

But dodos doing doo doos
Dropping doo doos on your head
Means dodos dropping doo doos
Makes me glad the dodo’s dead

Do dodos do disclaimers
Do those dodos dare deny
That dodos do do doo doos
From high up in the sky

Dodos don’t do doo doos
That drop down upon your head
They can’t fly, they’re three feet high
And like I said… they’re dead

I wrote an extended version of line one as a monoku for Line’s Bite Size Poem contest, but just kept going. Wrote it at the breakfast table so the only beverage involved was coffee. Ultimately, didn’t enter Line’s contest, because if she read this, she’d know who wrote that… if that makes sense. Terry. PS… my morning coffee is mine… ALL MINE!

Believe me Jenna, I wrote it in about ten or fifteen minutes but spent an hour checking all the dos, doos and dodos were in the right places. Glad you enjoyed. Terry
