Divorce Poetry

It's true of course -
we got a divorce,
and she bore my head aloft -
but her heart was soft,
and I suffer no remorse.

My attorney's stipulations
omitted decapitations,
and so, it's only fair
my head is lying there
giving poetic recitations.
