Divorce 2

In the heart of a storm, a child stands tall
Caught between the fierce winds of a divorce
Her parents' love shattered, their bond broken
Yet amidst the chaos, she finds solace

With her mother, she finds warmth and comfort
A gentle embrace in the midst of turmoil
Her mother's love, a beacon of light
Guiding her through the darkest of nights

But her father, a shadow of resentment
A looming figure of anger and pain
His presence a reminder of a fractured past
A source of anguish and bitter disdain

Yet still, the child remains steadfast
In her love for her mother, she finds peace
A sanctuary in a world torn asunder
Her mother's love, a fortress of grace

And though the storm rages on
She stands strong in her mother's embrace
For in her heart, she knows true love
Is found in the arms of the one who stays
