Look. It's obvious i haven't made a study of poetry. I simply speak my heart. My desire is the flow of thought might strike you as song, sad or happy emotions are the goal.

Divorce sucks! But,... marriage is worse. "It doesn't have to be like this." Life flows and we sink, Swim or float. Our choice. Not every eddy Or every rock Presents a fearful Block. Love regardless Means acceptance. A forever entanglement Not broken by Cyclic patterns of resentment, Fear, anger, or violence.

I so enjoyed this heartfelt and great poetry. Having myself suffered through two divorces, I can relate quite well to the message in this poem. "It doesn't have to be like this." So true, it doesnt but too oft one spouse decides they can have their cake and eat it too. Marriage is about trust , and when a wife cheats- trust is broken forever, IMHO.

Words that are natural and flow from the heart can create the best poetry.It is something for other’s to identify with.I haven’t made a study of poetry I do the same as yourself,write how you feel.I like the way you write Kevin -fortunately for me I am happily married,for 53 years now.Nevertheless I enjoyed this write.

Hello Kevin Lawrence, A marriage is good when you have the right partner. Other wise it will not work out.One partner will be faithful the other cheats. Even when you are a good devoted wife. Yet it still makes sense to have the right partner. Have a nice day my friend.
