Divinity of a Soul

Oh, how divine it is!

                   Man's mere essence,
            Transcending physical realms.
Within a soul, the light of humanity shines.
            We remain extant even after
Our book of life closes, we live on, spiritually.

                  Oh, how divine it is!

A celestial gift, a soul is safe
             When commended to God
At the hour of our deaths
        To grant us sinners absolution,
And the key to his kingdom.

                 Oh, how divine it is!

                We depart this world
                When our bodies tire
              Of life's wears and tears,
Yet our souls stay alive in perpetuity.
A soul is God's most special creation!

                Oh, how divine it is!

He must smile a smile of Pride when He creates a new soul for a new born, that will there to caress all emotions throughout life. And when the old adult's body is too tired to go any further, I am sure its again with pride he offers the key to His kingdom. What a beautiful sentiment filled poem. BOL This should be a winner.
