Divine Suffering

Break the silence and tell them who you are
light them up, and watch them burn like a star
burning bright like the sun in the sky
loud and terror-striking like a bobcat’s cry
we bleed through the earth like a stab in the heart
let them mock the holy people, their souls will be ripped apart
the angels fell with broken wings
god anointed them, them severed the controlling strings
let the whole world be swallowed up by sin
let the hoards of them explode from within
we all know about god’s powerful wrath
take in divine suffering and let go of the more terrible half
