Divine Smile

High above me I noticed, a faint smile of light, Ignored it, thinking it was only a vision of night. Immersed in the ocean of pleasure, Found myself deep down in the treasure. Surrounded by parents, siblings, nephew and niece, Thought I, it was the actual peace. Further as I swam, found myself swaying, In the arms of wealth, fame and riches brimming. Next to join me, were my own little ones. And in, came all my kith and kin High above me I noticed, a faint smile of light, Ignored it, thinking it was only a vision of night. As I further moved, deep down the life's ocean, Found myself bound with hundreds of emotion. Some showed me a Paradise, while others put me on cloud nine. High above me I noticed, that same smile of light, Ignored it, thinking it was only a vision of night. As I moved on, in this grand ocean of living, Found myself deeply engrossed with chores, all alone juggling. None joined me,neither fame nor riches, neither kith nor kin, That's when fear raised its head from within. As harsh waves of this ocean hit me, Remembered that faint smile which now seemed mighty. Made me realise that smile always shone my journey. High above you O man!, Always shines a divine smile. Spare a moment to smile back, and never wait till you are in a trial. Daily dose of energy that he bestows Will always keep the ongoing flow Transcendent energy you will experience, To swim in the ocean of life so mysterious.
