Divine Nature Ii

Your book of wisdom,

Have you opened, before my wondering eyes,

Oh, divine nature

Wishing thus all of your secrets to me

To unveil

And

I, for decades now, your mystic vocabulary to

Decipher have tried, longing your truth to read

But

Regrettably, have to admit, to

No avail!

As a poet, you capture wisdom and truth in your words . . . as I read and digest them, I see the dexterity of your knowledge patiently encouraging us to plunge deeply into wonderful God-world of faith.

If only I could achieve such a task! All good we are doing is His doing. We are just the fingers holding His pen! Thank you so much for you gracious comment, dear David! God bless you!

The thirst for knowledge is in and of itself beautiful. It signified that we know that we are limited and there is the infinite...God's wisdom is foolishness to man...but those who seek Him with a true heart...those he graces with the mysteries of the universe. Lovely poem, my dear poet. Your wisdom is always a source of encouragement and strength for me.

Each one of us is potentially the transmitter of His wisdom, if, as you say, " seek Him with a true heart". Thank you so much for your precious visit and comment, dear Eileen!

You my friend as such a wise wise man - nature will never reveal all its amazing secrets to us - but many should simply open their blinkered eyes and they would be inspired by the wonderful world around us:-) 7 xx :-) Hugs Jan xx

We can only attempt, sire. It is after all, God's intention that we truly be near Him in every possible way, whether through His creations or His Word. What a nice and deep thought you have here, Smiles from the land of thousand isles.
