Divine Music

The music of the hidden band played seductively
filling the glade with a touch of mysterious passion
calling out to souls of passer-by's enticing them
with dulcet tones that speak of eternal love

As the music swells so do people's emotions
cascading notes climb higher and higher
reaching peaks of hither unknown heights
waltzing through the hearts of silent listeners

Layer upon layer of seeking searching tones
that free the mind and let loose the soul
tempting one into indiscretion ate love
flooding through your very veins thumping

Slowly oh so very slowly the notes fade away
leaving behind sweet memories of romance
and souls running rife clasping clutching
wishing for more of the music of divinity

I found myself in a great cathedral in the middle of the sky, listening in awe to the angelic choir. Your poem's words ring true just like the music of divinity indeed. I may have finished reading but the music won't stop playing.
