Divine Justice

He tapped his cane and shook his cup
A rich man tossed a Ben Franklin in

Lifting his shades, the beggar took a peek…
fairly sprinted to the nearest bar

~ as the Good Lord chuckled from afar

The down and out taking advantage in order to imbibe catharsis for a little time. Hope you will take a look at my poem “Poetic License.” Hopefully you won’t mind that I used your name in the final line of my Sedoka. “Frost,” was the original option but I thought ‘why not one of our own.’

I don't know. Whiskey is a great cure for what ails us. ~ Liv R. Sirosis
