Divine Intervention

It’s hard to pinpoint one example of divine intervention For many times something has influenced my intention And I’d like to think my mother, who is surely in heaven, Has stepped in on many occasions to provide the leaven Helping me to rise to levels I never could have imagined, Guiding me along through life paths I’d never envisioned. I have had some close calls when I felt her hands on me And I can think of no other valid explanation for my safety. I believe with all my heart those who’ve gone on before Are guiding angels watching over us from the other shore.

Milt, it was a delight to read your account of angelic intervention, not only in the close calls of life, but in the intentions and path directions as well. It's sad to know you lost your beloved mother when you were only 15, but if she could see the man you have become, I know she would be so very proud of you. Thanks for sharing, and congrats for your contest win ~ John

Thank you so much, John. Yes, that she would. But if I were an abject failure (providing I did my best) she would be standing right with me! That was who my mother was.

Hi Milton, you are absolutely right in thinking so . All through life, there are many occasions of a divine power intervening our lives and miraculously saving us from dangerous situations or guiding us through proper paths. May be our parents in heaven are interceding for us! I sense your deep love for your mother....

Thank you for your insightful comment. Indeed, I have a great respect and deep sense of love for my mothers. She died at 42 when I was fifteen years old.

Hi Sam. I'm not sure if this is what Chantelle is looking for, but I did try to affirm divine intervention in my life, as I see it. Thanks.
