Divine
I'm trying to find the correct words to capture your smile
The very essence of who you are that keeps me staring in amazement at you
I believe it borders on the description of newfound life discovery and the purpose of love on this earth
Could it be that I want you to be mine?
Or maybe I'm misreading it all
In comparison, every one of these women are nothing but idle lookers
I'll place you on a pedistal and you'll never catch dust
I long for your shine so you never will rust
I trust you'll allow me you honestly must
For I cannot love just some person
You mention that there's nothing special about you
But I respectfully disagree because through those eyes that are fixed on me
I want them near me eternally
I'm too young to know what it means
But it must mean something when you're here in my dreams
Your life is a movie I study the scenes
And find out these words to describe what I mean
And I've come up with simply one word: divine
....your smile divine, so one of a kind.
I need it here while I'm lost in my mind
For when I see it I feel so sublime
And that's why I want you around all the time
