Our courage - our wisdom...
wrestle in misguide...
Bewilderment in actions...
reality is snatched...
Like a rodent high on steroids...
the appalled strung out adapt...

The powerful - the decent...
buried in contrive...
The images presented...
understatement lay dormant fear...
The peace we tried to shelter in...
for some has disappeared...
Our beliefs our wisdom...
controversy the blind they are aware...
The decisions more that we make...
the change beyond compare...
Our beliefs our knowledge...
nestled in the great divide...
For some of us we understand...
ignorance destroys one's pride-
For some we adapt move on...
realize...life, love, itself blessed worth...
The importance is deduced...
conclusion for self survive...
Within these walls-of our self belief
our knowledge without remiss...
The tried and true for some of us...
no longer does exist...
