Dive In

Dive in
Baby there's sharks in the water,
I need to get in the waters,
You know where not getting younger,
Well sink or we'll swim,
Baby are you with me?
Invincible, until you cut me open,
We are strangers, bound by love's cruel illusion...
Would you dive down, plunge into the abyss?
Tread through the wreckage of my shattered bliss?
Could you swim against the current of my fears?
Guide me back to surface, end my watery years?
For I am drowning, sinking fast and free,
Lost in the undertow of memories...
Beneath the waves, I reach for your hand,
Desperate fingers brushing yours like sand slipping through an hourglass.
I strain to hear your voice above the din,
Echoing fades of love left unsaid, swimming in sin.
Sin of how my heart become broken and lost in this dark abyss
Could you dive in and save me before the end..?
