Disturb Not the Tulip's Place
Disturb not the tulip's place,
for it's beauty is abound.
Leave it's color in it's place,
where stems meet the ground.
Care for the garden where it lives,
feed it, water it and it's rows turn.
Of yourself to it forever lovingly give,
knowing that each year it will return.
Beautiful and sacred the tulip's face,
it's graciousness comes from above.
Each leaf is of a velvet, perfect lace,
unfolded by the sun's undying love.
