Astro Pherik Poet Free verse

Distorting

All so egotistically 
         Distorting all versions of reality
Chemically compatible with separate identities
         All else falls away except gravity
Abnormally accessing enlightenment in mind blowing quantities
         For years we have documented our hearts corse 
Like the ink bleeding out our sores
         Far away from the shores i float underneath a raging sea so peacefully.
Underneathe the blue tranquility
          Reaching far above the natural ability of just scribbiling

Yoni Dvorkis November 19, 2009 at 8:22 AM I think we're on the same page.Ego does distort and it distorts heavily and without mercy.Most of my darker work comes straight from the ego and the result would be your raging sea except I could never figure out how to float peacefully, or at least until it quiets down a bit.I like the chemical compatibility though I can't quite see how it fits.In my world I'd take it literally through various substances that help 'alter' my identity so that it feels different from my normal self. awesome work.
