Distant Thunder
a crack of thunder
shatters the silence
and a flash
of lightening
crosses the sky
it is you comming to me
after so much time
my lands are very thirsty
and my valleys very dry
why is it so long
for your visit
my beautiful loving sky
cover me with your clouds
and rain before passing by
send your violent torrents
through desert floors
and flood
cool me with your wind
give me all your love
before you go away
is there nothing i can do
can't i make you stay
with a little something blue
look at desert flowers and colors
i have brought
look at desert land scape
after water and dirt have fought
look at creatures living
that slept under the ground
feel that feeling living
ever scence you came around
but, look at clouds dancing
twards the eastern side of the sky
your final winds are blowing
and i'm to dry to cry
