Distant Shore

What is a sunset
Without a night fall
What is the moon
Without the waves crashing at the shore
What is the night sky
Without daylight yearning for more
What is a serenade
Without the music played
What is won't always be
So for now we must gaze
Off into the distance
While others only hope for a shore
Begging our hearts
To stop yearning for more
To stop craving what we cannot see
And be the beacon of light
In the cold dry breeze
Awaiting another day
To pray
For that boat to arise
To continue love
Or forever cut ties!!!!
