Distant Nostalgia

Maybe it was the night
Maybe it was the cold
The blistering snow
A cold night as this haunts me

I don’t understand how did you like it
such a weather like this that you adored
You enjoyed the chill breath and the frost
Such a night like this
I can see nothing but your smile

Maybe it’s not the weather
Maybe it’s not the cold

Perhaps just perhaps
I just miss you

WE are used to this weather in England, you are from a warm country, very lucky.. Sometimes the smallest things remind us of those who are not with us.. well written Anna..

thank you... it is funny how the weather can play a role with our emotions
