Distant Lover
A distant lover she is,
Skeptical of who I am,
And who I will be,
Average {backslash} extreme regularity,
Scary thoughts of an extra-ordinary brotha,
If only my arms were long enough to show you...
A distant lover she is,
Although space defines us,
She shows me her mind,
Deeper than depth,
Slowly I climb her Mt. Everest,
On top of which her heart sits...
A distant lover she is,
3 miles from forever,
But the journey is well worth,
She opens my eyes with her voice,
And a laugh that's past contagious,
Oh how I crave the sickness...
A distant lover she is,
Skeptical of who I am,
And who I will be,
Really?
Because I believe in her smile,
And one day we will share in it,
My distant lover...
