Distant

Distant you feel as we lay side by side remembering the past and planning our future. 
Distant you feel when life gets difficult and we long to find something simple to hold tightly too. 
Distant you feel as we tire to find common ground again. 
Distant you feel as I read into you feelings and allow myself to watch you fade into the distance.
