Distances

Distances

Your day will pass and I will sleep

strange these balance's of things remain apart

like a jet lag of life

impersonates my heart

I was just thinking about this yesterday. First of all I think sleep is an odd thing, sort of a self hibernation, and half the world is awake while the other plots and plans and goes on with life. Short sweet and reflective.

What a clever comparison -- "like a jet lag of life." Excellent!
