It’s heartbreaking. It’s hurting. It’s sadness. To keep holding on, to keep trying to hold this relationship together. It’s so hard. I trust that you won’t betray me, and you hold that same trust in me. Well, you once did. We promised to each other to never hurt one another, to never leave one another. You were the first to break those promises that we tried, oh so long we tried to keep. All because of the miles between us, all because we couldn’t be close to each other, and your love faltered, and fell, and you left me. Heartbroken.
