Dissonant Inner Song

or a damaged brain that you have...
or peeling needless body parts...
this melody swallowed by the precipice...
the dissonant inner song.
after sacrificing sanity there is no way.
the corridors are extensive.
and they all end up in the dark.
now the hands should scratch the soul.
should use the throat and scream.
one last refrain.
try to run up to the wall called nowhere.
after all we've been through, remember?
but there is nothing on the other side.
every time i try to discover the world,
I get lost inside myself.

So well-expressed, Marco. I particularly liked the last two lines, but they certainly appropriately followed your "dissonant inner song" from earlier in the poem. Good writing, my friend.
