Dissonance
Uncomfortable with our dialogue
Discombobulated by what you see
It appears the narrative of your childhood
Is challenged by a different philosophy
I speak of eudaimonia
Euthymia - energetic tranquility
To live life in the moment
To love your fate - life will be what it will be
I believe we must develop courage
Take ownership for all our deeds
Let go of all externals
Our actions will show what we believe
Perhaps Hell is what we create?
When our actions contradict the things we say
Our emotions become irreconcilable
We scapegoat our issues, and pray
I believe liberation occurs by acknowledging
God's beauty exist in the grandness of the unknown
Our salvation lies in acceptance
Peace occurs - when we let our certitudes go
The truth lies in the uncomfortable
It's just beyond the horizon of what we see
Truth is not having all the answers
The Truth - we’re all part of humanity
So if there's discomfort in the dialogue
If you're thrown off by what you believe
That means we’re making progress
This world is bigger than you and
