Dissociation

Unaware when the familiar became a blank stair. The passage of time living a life so blind. No life no feelings this reflection so chilling. The breath of yesterday this gaze does take away. A stranger how clear this reflection in the mirror.

My reaction to your short emotive poem is not short. I felt emotional sadness over all that time took, shook, jaded and/or faded; bits of love and life now lost or void of the fulfilling perspective they once had; hollow mind and heart aches to be love filled. And NOW it is also about reaching out and sharing your raw emotions with another that you might aid their road to clarity. Thank you for gifting me in this way, I am touched ... CayCay
