I have wished on many a star in my time and failed to have my dreams come true. There is an old saying that says, "Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it." I believe if it doesn't come true there must be a good reason, though I may not want to know what that is. Very well written piece, one many can relate to I am sure. I hope that you find your happiness whether your dreams come true or you are handed a new one that you never dreamed you wanted. Smiles from Lolita

I know how this feels but everything does happen for a reason as maybe it was not meant to be, you may make a wish and have it come true and it may be wrong and you might miss out on your real blessing..God knows what is best for all of us...I hope all your disappointment soon turns into Joy..Very deep...Nicely done, Best wishes always, Tyesha

Sometimes the best thing is unanswered prayers. Believe it or not, many times I thought my wishes hadn't come true, and while they hadn't, later on I realized there was good reason for them not to. Sometimes its not for us to question the grand scheme of things, its simply not meant to be for some things. Excellent write and simple, yet powerful......Aleera
