Display

A mix of snow and sleet arrives today
Sticking and freezing in a cold display
Of white all around and skies are gray
A slippery time to drive or to play
Inside near the woodstove, I want to stay
I forgot the cocoa, so coffee has a way
Of sending the cold feelings away!
