Disloyal Soldiers

Disloyalty is a spoiled tree blooming
in the wrong direction
Its insurrection puts to rest relations
not to be resurrected
From a loyal perspective we oil
squeaky heels with hopes
we don't end up
spinning wheels
Stay off the skates because
this is real or else
you'll end up falling
& scarred without a cause
On guard
I see who you really are
with no mask
What's love if you're a weak &
tender glass with no
feelings?
In this regard I deal in absolutes
where truth is the only
solution in such
dealings
There's no confusion nor any
doubt that you're as
transparent as
aforementioned glass
I'll pass
Too scared of your own
reflection
Who dares to utter such things
surely this is purely
projection?
Definitely not a thing
but that's fair
Who really cares about their
feelings when they don't
even know what
they're feeling?
Clearly there's no ceiling for
how high I can reach when
climbing into minds
No I'm not preaching to the
choir but rhyming
to a congregation
in rhythm
I teach those that require
understanding with or
without a desire for
spiritual reprimanding
I'm a schism that doesn't
grandstand but stands on
a truth so grand it inspires
If you're looking for proof look
no further or higher
than your past actions
My satisfaction comes from
knowing we walk on floors
that serve as ceilings
for lower thinking
Do you think this is surface
liquid or deeper
drinking?
I'm thinking my mirror reflects
uncomfortable sights to see
but I view them
in jest
This is a spiritual exercise
nothing more or
anything less
I passed those tests with ease
oscillating between degrees
of temperature
& temperament
I can see it's cold outside
regardless of what
the weather says
I learned the lesson when
I opened my eyes
& rose from
brittle beds
There's nothing to dread
because I'm locked
into battlegrounds
not seen or tread
