Disguised By Ink
Who he really is may come as a surprise
Judging a book by its cover, against this I advise
What you see is what you get, to this rule he is the exception
The unworthy kept at bay by their own perception
This man is deeply imbedded with integrity, honor, and pride
Very aware of his attributes, he is loved deeply by his bride
If you’re not yet impressed there is more I can express
Through all of his life struggles he has accomplished success
There is one more thing with you I must share
Something so beautiful and honestly quite rare
His other role is daddy and it’s not just a title
Her happiness and wellbeing to him is vital
She has his heart, this love is truly amazing
Each new experience she faces, from him only praising
According to him, with mommy and child his life now complete
The love in his heart is divine and without deceit
Disguised by Ink, the cover reveals nothing of his true story
If you haven’t figured it out yet, he will have all the glory
