Disguise

The frown that is hidden beneath that smile can never be revealed.
Rosy pink lip gloss concealed the bruised lips or ego.
Concealer, Face Powder, Eye shadow mask the TRUE self.

Matching outfits and shoes galore,
Purses, Hand-bags... The latest fashion trends help to give a false sense of accomplishment.

Money in the bank... check
House on the hill... check
A SUV or a CRV or a PRADA OR a BENZ... check
But where is happiness?

This poem was written to inspire individuals to build their happiness not on material things but on things that matter like love, respect and a genuine heart. Keep loving and doing in order to erect positive changes in the society that will help to peel the mask.
