Disgrace

Disgrace

Your eyes as green
As the meadow grass

Your skin as smooth
As fresh pressed glass

Your hair as black
As the night we kissed

Your smile that I
Will always miss

Your heart was warm
To my surprise

But now it’s turned
Into a block of ice

Your eyes have changed
Your skin is hard

Our path is now split apart

I loved you for a blink
Of an eye
Until you spoke your
First lie

Never again would you
See my face

Now and forever
Gone to a disgrace
