Discovery

Eagles soared high
to the Princes' Four Winds
Golden eyes, keen
Above in the blue

A passing cloud,
snowy white
On a sea of blue
Could this be the one
Could this be what they were looking for?

Swooping down
Through cloud, so white
Made golden wings, bright
brighter than a Kings' Crown

Bursting through
in to air, so sweet
Filled with scent
An island! , Found too!

This one could only be seen
by the chosen few..
Eagles, have magic too

Deep forests,
rising through valleys
The eagles,
Searching..
Mountain high
Bays too
For, ships must dock
On an island,
Hidden in the ocean blue

Onwards , they sped
Faeries, sense things
For, they know
Good news will always travel ahead

A sense of excitement,
coursed through..
Waiting for eagles
Wanting their news
Seeing their views

One by one,
they dropped down
Wings , burnished by golden sun
Their mission, done

The Kings, gathered
Queens and Princesses
Princes too
For ,on this day..
Land!
For me!
For you!

The Eagles had not failed
Sweet land
A place to build
Wooden ships willed
Wooden ships sailed

A journey across the sea
A discovery...
A Heartstone, in a place
safe,
for you and for me
